Answer Nine
To be a Christian means to live in a community, initially in
the community of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We enter this community
in our Baptism. We share this relationship in union with others in our communities
of faith, or churches. We are encouraged to live a good life but we cannot really
call ourselves Christians if we are not in union with fellow Christians. It
is not just a matter of going to Church but of belonging to a community in which
we worship God Our Father through his Son, Jesus Christ, in the power of the
Holy Spirit.
