Father Michael Sileshi was a member of the Franciscan Order. Subsequently he offered himself for training as a secular priest of the Southwark Diocese.
During the latter phase of his training he was resident in the parish during which time he was ordained deacon. In August 2001 he was ordained priest in a colourful ceremony at St. George’s Cathedral. His first appointment as Assistant Priest was to the parish of St. John Fisher, Merton, and then to St. Boniface, Tooting. In 2007 he was appointed to his present post as Parish Priest at St. Ann’s, Kingston Hill.
