We frequently hold special services and events, perhaps to commemorate a particular time of year (such as Stations of the Cross during Lent, or the Rosary in May or October) or with a particular theme (for example our Annual Service for the Sick). The Uniformed Groups take part in Church Parades during the year. On evenings preceding Holy Days of Obligation, there is a Holy Hour at 7pm. Three times in recent years, we have organised Parish Weekends, combining the spiritual and social aspects of parish life, and in 1997 we had an unforgettable Mission, given by Redemptorist Fathers. From time to time, we get together with our fellow Christians in Orpington for a United Service; and each Good Friday morning we join them in a Walk of Witness along Orpington High Street.
