Many Christians find they are enriched in their Faith by sharing in smaller 'house
groups'. The Christian Meditation Group meets on alternate Thursdays at 8.00pm
to practise silent prayer in the monastic tradition, as described by John
Main OSB.
They may read or listen to a passage being read from the Bible, reflect on it prayerfully and then, using a prayer word, meditate for a period of time. Members are provided with a suitably friendly environment in which to practise this form of prayer. No previous experience is needed and new members are always welcome.
