This Committee is the only one that a Parish is required to
have by Canon Law. It must comprise at least three people, and include the Parish
Priest. Its responsibilities are to construct a budget, monitor in-year expenditure,
ensure that Accounts are complete and accurate, make sure that the annual returns
to the Diocese are complete and audited, and to exercise appropriate internal
controls over the Parish Accounts.
