Holy Innocents - Society of St Vincent de Paul

Parish Groups: Society of St Vincent de Paul

St Vincent de PaulThe Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) is an international Catholic Welfare Society.

In England, for example, the Society runs a hostel for ex-offenders, and for those who are down on their luck.

Activities undertaken by the Holy Innocents Conference include visiting hospitals, the housebound and those in need; arranging summer camps for deprived children; visiting those in prison; and distributing Christmas parcels, furniture and clothing to those in need.

The Conference is twinned with two Indian Conferences in Kerala in Southern India, whose very poor families we help to support.

Although based in Orpington, the Conference also extends its activities to those neighbouring parishes which lack an SVP Conference. Our income is made up entirely from contributions from Holy Innocents Parish.
